Ajdovska Cave near Nemška vas is opened on weekends during the 2026/27 season, between October 15 and April 15, from Friday at 3:00 PM through Sunday at 6:00 PM.
Free entry is available through the lower right entrance.
We would like to remind visitors that appropriate footwear and personal lighting are required, and that entry should be in small groups. Visiting the cave is at your own risk. We especially ask that you respect the cave environment—nothing should be brought in, taken out, or otherwise damaged.
We would also like to emphasize that Ajdovska Cave is accessible only on foot.
Visitor parking is arranged in front of the Senuše Fire Station (Senuše 51, post office Leskovec pri Krškem). From there, it is an approximately 20-minute relaxing walk to Ajdovska Cave along a marked trail past the Church of St. Lucy to Brezovska Gora, and then on to the Podjama karst field and the cave itself.
